Il v\u00e9cut \u00e0 Chester en Nouvelle- \u00c9cosse et commen\u00e7a sa carri\u00e8re professionnelle comme horloger et propri\u00e9taire de bijouterie. Bien que n\u2019ayant aucune formation en ing\u00e9nierie, Forman avait un penchant pour la m\u00e9canique. Il \u00e9tait un \u00ab m\u00e9canicien d\u2019arri\u00e8re-cour \u00bb qui utilisait sa grange comme atelier.<\/p>\n<p>Cette exposition raconte l\u2019histoire des nombreuses initiatives et r\u00e9alisations de Forman Hawboldt. C\u2019est aussi l\u2019histoire de comment la vision d\u2019un homme, son ing\u00e9nuit\u00e9 et sa pers\u00e9v\u00e9rance ont fa\u00e7onn\u00e9, au d\u00e9but du vingti\u00e8me si\u00e8cle, l\u2019avenir d\u2019une petite communaut\u00e9 rurale de la Nouvelle-\u00c9cosse et chang\u00e9 \u00e0 jamais l\u2019industrie de la p\u00eache de l\u2019Atlantique.<\/p>\n<p>La vision de Forman Hawboldt est perp\u00e9tu\u00e9e par l\u2019actuelle Hawboldt Industries.
