How can we go on the Pill?

This letter reads:

Dear. Dr. Powell,

My friend and I, who are both 15 want to go on the pill. Can you please tell us if there are any clinics in Vancouver that we could go to? Also is there any way to predict what side effects you will get before you start taking it. We have both read a lot about the side effects and are scared to go on it, but we are even more scared of getting pregnant.

Hope you can help us, as we are to scared to go to our family doctors. Thanks a lot.
